Dr. Lara Oboler, MD

Dr. Lara Oboler is a board-certified physician with fellowship training in vascular imaging and echocardiography. She founded Heartwell STAT Imaging after years of witnessing a recurring problem: patients in New York City who needed urgent diagnostic imaging had two options — wait two to four weeks for a hospital appointment, or spend most of a day in the emergency room.

She built Heartwell to be the third option: a dedicated, physician-led imaging center where patients can be seen the same day, in a calm private setting, with results interpreted and signed before they leave.

At Heartwell, Dr. Oboler personally reads and signs every single study. There are no outsourced readings, no anonymous radiologist reports that arrive days later. When you come to Heartwell, you are seeing the physician who will interpret your imaging.
